We produce spring and summer honey. i believe in leaving ivy honey for the bees as their winter stores. they have worked hard throughout the season and deserve it. they forage naturally in the meath countryside , producing top quality honey. after extraction, its only filtered once to maintain all the goodness.                                                                  see some of the swarm catching on our facebook and instagram pages.

Our swarm retrieval service involves humanely collecting and relocating swarms using an old and trusted way of shaking the complete swarm into o box, then transfering them to a suitalbly sized hive were they can be safe. For colonies situated in houses ,garages, bins, ect ..yes they will build a home anywhere. we come to check out the situation , everyone is different. the majority of the time this will invole exposing the colony and extracting the bees out , removing the comb, and rehoming . on some occations we have to destroy the colony, because they are in places we just can't get to . e.g between cavity wall, etc

If you find a swarm, please contact myself or the royal county bee keeping association , of which i am a member. while they're in swarm mode they could settle on trees, walls, bins. sometimes they'll only stay for an hour until they're ready to fly somewhere thats suitable. Don't get too close, and keep children and animals away .
